The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)
- Workload reduction for the affiliated chain partners.
- Improving and standardizing the life cycle of resources (requests, assignment, and withdrawal).
What was the project at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)?
RVO needed to provide employees with tools in a structured way through profiles. A profile, based on the job role and organizational role, includes facility-related matters such as access passes, as well as ICT-related matters like applications, share access, and system authorizations.
The goal was to manage the various necessary workflows from a single portal. This centralized process control, relieving the manager of the burden.
What were the challenges in implementing Trusted-ID solutions?
Coordination between various parties (Topdesk, Dictu, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Core Department) was essential in this process. Because the various partners each have their own maturity level, this meant that the IAM solution required a high degree of flexibility in managing the process.
What are the results?
The IGA Asset Management module enables clients to create profiles that, linked to a specific role and organization, automatically provide the right resources when an employee joins or moves within the organization.
The module is connected to the standard employee joiner, mover and leaver process, ensuring the data is up-to-date.
Various chain partners receive data in the manner they request, and can provide return information in the manner they specify.
