Implementation of an IAM environment for the Electronic Patient Record (EPIC), the new healthcare combination of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VUmc) and the Amsterdam Medical Center (AMC).

What were the challenges in implementing Trusted-ID solutions?
The various HR environments had to be accessed via a central facility, after which the correct EPIC rights were automatically assigned based on job and organizational profiles.

What are the results?
The central IAM facility for the Amsterdam University Medical Center (Amsterdam UMC) has been implemented and connected to the two IdM facilities of VUmc and AMC. Employee data is automatically read and processed. Roles are automatically derived and assigned. Data is transferred to the EPIC patient file via a special EPIC connector.
