William: &#8220;I was on the other side of the table there, namely on the client side (for Trusted-ID).&#8221; William&#8217;s job was to review the deliverables of both Trusted-ID (the IDM solution developed by Danny) and Cap Gemini (the IDM portal). &#8220;That resulted in daily visits with Danny, who at a certain point didn&#8217;t want to see me anymore.&#8221;   <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\" et_pb_row et_pb_row_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_text_1\">\n<p>During the delivery of the IDM solution (by Trusted-ID) and the portal (by Cap Gemini), William encountered Trusted-ID director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dkaramat?authType=name&amp;authToken=HhpM&amp;trk=prof-sb-browse_map-name\">Darryl<\/a>. Darryl came to support Danny because the Trusted-ID project was a reference for other ministries. At the delivery, Darryl asked William if he wanted to work for him after a few hints from Danny. &#8220;Apparently, I was competent and helpful, and not just a whiner.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<p>Before becoming a freelancer, William worked for eight years at CMG, one of the largest IT recruitment agencies at the time. William was a software developer there and progressed to software architect and technical project manager. &#8220;The IT market was in its heyday, and freelancing was a logical next step for me after eight years working for an employer with all sorts of rules and regulations.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While reviewing, using, and auditing Trusted-ID&#8217;s work, I encountered Identity Management. It was a concept that had existed for a long time, but only really began to take shape and establish itself in the Netherlands around the time of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management.&#8221; William was adept at translating the functional to the technical. &#8220;At Trusted-ID, I saw an opportunity to contribute my knowledge and expertise to improve IAM implementations.&#8221; William has now been working at Trusted-ID for almost ten years, a close-knit family of conceptual, functional, and technical nerds (read: specialists) with one passion: Identity &amp; Access Management.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et-waypoint et_pb_image et_pb_animation_off et_pb_image_0 et_always_center_on_mobile et-animated et_builder_animated\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_text_2\">\n<h2><strong>MOVING TOWARDS THE CLOUD IS USER-CENTRAL<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>William notes that the technology and scope surrounding IAM are changing. &#8220;We&#8217;re moving more towards the cloud, but essentially the same basic principles remain. Without high-quality registrations and data, you can&#8217;t move towards the cloud or even implement IAM.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>At Trusted-ID, the focus is on the processes surrounding IAM and correctly capturing and interpreting the data before deploying any solution, whether on-premises or moving to the cloud. &#8220;These processes are user-centric, not the technical solution. We can, in principle, create and build anything, but only to support the processes and the user experience.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><em>&#8220;OUR CUSTOMERS ARE PROGRESSIVE AND TRUSTFUL. THAT CHALLENGES US!&#8221;<\/em><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Trusted-ID&#8217;s services range from consultancy and workshops to implementation, management, training, and expansion. &#8220;We have a specific approach that works, and that&#8217;s rewarding. We think outside the box and are constantly seeking innovation.&#8221; According to William, Trusted-ID&#8217;s clients contribute to this: &#8220;Our clients are progressive and trusting. That challenges us to be constantly creative and repay our clients&#8217; trust.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>William believes it&#8217;s crucial to make Trusted-ID solutions truly client-agnostic: &#8220;With the IAM knowledge and expertise we&#8217;ve built up, we need to transition from a consultancy to a product and service provider. We&#8217;ll continue to be a consultancy company, but delivering products and services will provide us with a sustainable model.&#8221; Looking ahead, William is working to deliver services that are cross-border and consultancy-independent.
